Music Ministry

Among the many signs and symbols used by the Church to celebrate its faith, music is of preeminent importance. Music in Catholic Worship (1983).

Music:

• assists the assembled believers to express and share the gift of faith that is within them and to nourish and strengthen their interior commitment of faith.
• is an important and integral part of liturgy.
• serves to enhance the gospel message, and;
• supports the singing of the congregation, the most important musician of the church.

OLG is blessed to have a vibrant and strong music ministry . Several different groups assist the congregation and enhance the liturgy to make them beautiful occasions during which we praise God.

The groups that comprise the Music Ministry at OLG are:

• Magnificat Choir
• Guadalupe Ringers
• Youth Choir
• Cantor Program
• Regina Caeli Choir (Funerals)
