• What is an annulment?
  • Who can get an annulment?
  • How long does it take to get an annulment?
  • What’s the difference between an annulment and a civil divorce?

Great resource material (to shed some light on these questions):

* Understanding Annulments, by Fr. John T. Catoir, J.C.D.
* How can a marriage be declared null? by Fr. Michael S. Foster, J.C.D.

The Tribunal of the Diocese of Cleveland offers their FirstStep program, by which you can initiate your annulment procedings.  For more info on the FirstStep program, click here.

To discuss your situation, and the possibility of obtaining a Declaration of Nullity, please speak with Fr. Shemuga (33.468.2194 x124), Deacon Dave Govern (330.468.2194 x103).

Both documents are in Adobe Acrobat Reader format.  If this program is not installed on your computer, it must be downloaded and installed before clicking on either of the above documents (if the program is installed, the documents will open automatically; if it is not, you’ll be prompted for a location at which to save the files).
